Walt Disney Television EMEA (Europe, the Middle East and Africa), part of the Disney-ABC Television Group, is responsible for the Walt Disney Company's branded channels and terrestrial branded programming throughout Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Walt Disney Television oversees three Disney branded channels across Europe; Disney Channel, Playhouse Disney and Toon Disney as well as general entertainment channel, abc1 in the UK and Disney Cinemagic, a UK premium channel for families which premieres the latest animated films.

Since 1995, 20 Disney Channels have been successfully launched throughout EMEA. Walt Disney Television EMEA also provides programming for 50 branded blocks in 45 territories across EMEA each month.

Walt Disney Television has local operations based in London, Paris, Madrid, Milan, Munich, Lisbon and Stockholm.

DISNEY CHANNEL UK ANNOUNCES NEW LOCAL PRODUCTION

Disney Channel UK is teaming up with Talkback Thames to produce a brand new sitcom As the Bell Rings due on air in April. It is based on a hugely successful concept from Disney Channel Italy called Quelli d?ell Intervalo, now in its fourth series.

Playhouse Disney today announced a brand new preschool series, Bunnytown; Disney?s first full scale international TV production produced in the UK at Elstree studios. "Bunnytown," is a new music-filled, humour-filled puppet variety show for preschoolers premiering on Playhouse Disney on Saturday, November 3 (9am) and then immediately afterwards on Playhouse Disney +.
