Executive Profiles
Michael Kreissl became General Manager of Disney Channel Germany in September 2000. Michael is responsible for the Disney TV brand in free and pay TV channels in German speaking territories. This includes Disney Channel on the digital pay TV Platforms Premiere and Teleclub (Switzerland), Playhouse Disney and Toon Disney on Kabel Digital Home (Germany), Cablecom (Switzerland) and Telekom Austria. He is responsible for the Disney productions for German free TV: Disney Time on Kabel 1 and Disney Filmparade on Pro7.
Prior to his current role, Michael was Director at the music channel VIVA in Germany for more than four years.
Between 1987 and 1994 Michael managed children's programming for the Austrian public broadcast station ORF.
